In this session from the 2020 GovComms Festival, Tracey Bridges discusses how government can help to reduce inequalities through effective communication.

Tracey is the Co-Founder and Director of The Good Registry. She is an expert in social marketing and behavior change and is a Board Member of the Royal New Zealand Plunket Trust.

Tracey discusses the importance of listening to minority communities to solve inequalities that negatively affect those communities. She explains how government has historically disregarded the input of minority communities in their social marketing strategies.

Tracey claims that government needs to take an active approach in addressing and minimizing inequalities in society. She gives tips to communicators on how they can play a role in government responses to inequality.
