Phillip Jones has made a career of not really having one. At least, not in a straight line. Now the Director of Marketing, Fundraising and Communications for St Vincent de Paul for Canberra/Goulburn, he’s previously been a freelance consultant, social entrepreneur, facilitator, and restauranteur. He’s the Chair of Judges for the Canberra Region Tourism Awards, and has a popular alter ego, as the Martini Whisperer, providing expert insights into craft spirits and cocktail culture, especially Australian and gave a TEDxCanberra talk on the Cultural History of the Martini. He’s also a past presenter at the GovComms Conference, is married to Edwina, and keeps active with a cheeky puppy Cosmo.
